Baby Animal Days and Grizzly Game

The first weekend of April I was also able to go to Baby Animal Days with my sisters before we headed down to Salt Lake. I didn't get a ton of pictures because I was enjoying the time with my sisters.
We waited in line for about 30 minutes to see the baby bears so of course I had to take pictures of them.

Then a couple weeks later Brian was offered some free Grizzly hockey game tickets. We got them last minute but Jan and Spencer were able to come and join us. We had a fun night of cheering on the Grizzles. It was funny to see how Kaden reacted to everything that was going on.

My camera kept refocusing weird so it was super bright but then we tried it the other way below and it turned out fine. I do think I finally figured out what I was doing to make this happen so I am ready to give it a whirl again.

Yeah Brian took this one. Much better.

Prepping for Easter

The first weekend in April Brian and I had to head toward Salt Lake to finish up our taxes and get a few things together for our trip to Hawaii. Since we knew about this ahead of time we decided to get together with Jan and Spencer to color some Easter eggs and make a Easter craft. It was a super fun couple nights and we loved having a blast catching up and planning out Hawaii. Here are the pictures we were able to grab of the nights.

Some of our favorites that we made

So the boys didn't follow directions here to jump into the picture.

We did it again and Brian still didn't come into the frame of our camera. He did get into Jan's though so he called it good.

We made some cute bunnies for out houses and some bibs since Jan was needing some new ones that were bigger.
Overall a super fun weekend that helped make my spring break ending feel like I enjoy some great time doing more then just a few things and school stuff.

Spring Break

My spring break and Brian's spring break didn't fall on the same weeks but we figured out with some rearranging that we could still go away together for at least one night during my spring break. Just as we were planning it Brian's sisters' asked us what we were doing and if we were doing anything fun. We told them our plans and they decided to join us. It was a great night away spent with family. We had so much fun even though I was a little stressed that we technically had too many people for our room and couldn't fully relax. We got so many pictures and it was fun to experiment with our waterproof camera case that we are going to use in Hawaii. It made me so excited for Hawaii. Only a little longer and then it will be time to go. We can't wait!! Perfect night away to relax and enjoy some family time.
The restaurant we went to gave all the kids free balloons

got a homemade Oreo that was huge and tasted just like a real Oreo.

So excited to be here.

Let's go swimming.

walking to the pool

We really played with the camera case underwater.

I stopped taking pictures after we got back to the room since we basically just enjoyed some popcorn with a movie and then crashed. The next morning we were checking out and had to get ready super fast since Brian had to be back to Logan for a school meeting. But we enjoyed every minute while we were there. We would love to do things like this again.
