April going ons

We have enjoyed the great weather that has been in Utah lately along with the crazy weather. I am trying to make sure I pull out the camera more and document like I use to ALL the time. So here is what we have enjoyed doing in April so far.
I got a haircut and we had our friends come spend the night. It was a last get together before they left for the summer to go summer selling.
We then headed out to Antelope Island with Jan, Spencer, and Kaden. We had talked about going last year and never made it. It was so beautiful and we were excited to head out on a simple hike.
At the visitor center with the "Moo"

On our hike.....or attempted hike. We got on the trail and the bugs were crazy. Here is where we stopped for a quick picture and turned around. Kaden got bit really bad by the bugs, the rest of us were okay but it was not a pleasant hundred plus feet that we climbed.

But on our way back out of the park the Bison were so close to the road we stopped for a quick picture.
Kaden was ready to run and pet them. Good thing he listens really well and settled for pointing at the "Moo".
On the next weekend Brian and I got all ready for the day and headed off to Northern Utah for a fun day in the sun. We got to see my new niece, buy some clearance items at USU, and be there for the announcement of the new stadium name at the Spring Football Scrimmage. It was a fun weekend but I only grabbed this picture of me ready to leave and walk out the door. It was a perfect long day of fun though and we got to get lots done with visiting Brian's grandpa even.

So this year so far has been a very hard year with lots of medical things that we didn't expect and car problems. Since we knew we were having our baby we decided it was a great time to get Brian's moles checked out that we have felt needed to be done for years. We had 3 concerning ones removed. Then we got the results.....two were cancerous. They needed further surgery. So we scheduled the first one and Brian had a 2 hour procedure to get the cancerous cells removed. We are happy to report that was all the treatment that was needed. We did the same thing on the second spot and received the same happy news. Plus we got two more concerning moles removed from his leg. Now we are just left with annual check-ups. After the second surgery though Brian also had some concerning spots show up on his head and after 2 doctor visits we were given lots of medicine and think it was shingles due to the symptoms he felt, luckily we caught it early and it cleared up in just 2 weeks. During the same time our car started having problems and after having 3 different mechanics look at it and doing lots of work we finally found the problem and have it fixed. It was more then we thought it would be and took a lot longer then we expected but we now feel safe in our car again.

So we finally were feeling better and ready to go and enjoy some fun date nights as just the two of us for the little time we have left. We got the pass of all passes for this summer and realized we could go to the hockey playoff game for free on our passes. So we enjoyed a super fun cheap date night at the game. The grizzles won too!! It was the perfect night out after the hard couple months we have had.

We then had a fun parenting class to prepare for baby and enjoyed time with family. We are getting so close to our baby coming and are just enjoying the last little bit of time we have together. Today we enjoyed a great day with family at the park. It was such a nice day and we were all lucky to get together. Then we did a few maternity pictures. It was the perfect weekend.

So crazy how big the belly is getting but Brian and I are both loving it. Now to enjoy a few more weeks and then we will get to meet this baby of ours. Can't believe June 1st is in 6 weeks!!

March....

I obviously didn't pull out the camera much in March except to document the growing belly. So Enjoy the pictures of the start of the 3rd Trimester.

Baby Stuff

So I am never in front of a computer any more and I am always super busy so the blog has been neglected. But I am here to update again. We have been busy getting everything ready for Baby Anderson to join our family. The end of February I had my first baby shower and we got lots of things. We were very blessed with everyone being so giving.
Here are the pictures of some of the stuff.
Got the baby an alligator just like daddy has

I got this new plant. Brian and I had a plant when we first got married so I wanted one for when we started our family.

We were gifted with the best rocking chair you could ask for. I love to sit in it and can't wait to rock our baby.

The shower was a double shower with my sister.
