Our Gift

We found out that we are going to be a family of 3 the end of September. We are so excited to be welcoming a baby come June 1st. We have been documenting our journey from the beginning and we are excited to continue to see the growth happen in the belly and then in our baby.

we made sure everyone heard our happy news with our Christmas card this year.

We will not be finding out what we having. So if you want to know that you will have to stick around to find out in 6 months. We are super excited for our baby!!! Come back for more updates. I am trying to take pretty consistent pictures but as you can tell from above I missed a good amount of time already but I am committed again to being better.

Temple Square

One thing we were not able to do last year was go to temple square. It was so sad that we missed this (Brian wasn't that sad). But I was not going to let us miss out this year. So we had a chance to go this last weekend. It was the perfect night to go. We spent a fabulous night in 60 degree weather enjoying the lights and each other.

After we finished looking at lights, we grabbed a quick bite to eat at City Creek and headed to Energy Solutions Arena for a Jazz game. We were way behind when we got to the game but our team made a huge fight back until seriously the last second of the game. Sadly we still lost but it made for a fun ending to the night.

Then we got a fun Christmas present when we got back to our car. There were a lot of different events going on that night in Salt Lake so we had just parked at City Creek and stayed there the whole time. When we got back and went to pay there was a sign on the machine that said the gates are open have a safe drive home. Merry Christmas! We were happy to have such a fun night to enjoy and get a little gift at the end like that. Perfect weekend to relax and enjoy the spirit of the holiday.

Festival of Trees

Brian and I love going to the Festival of Trees each year. It is the one thing that we both love about the holiday season. This year the gingerbread house section was amazing so I took a lot of pictures there. We each found a couple trees we loved and I really enjoyed seeing the tree donated in honor of my grandma. Overall, we left ready for the holiday season.

We double looked each aisle. It isn't my favorite way to look at everything but with so many things we had to do it that way.

Firemen Tree seriously crazy how it was made with axes and different tools they use.
