UEN's Advantages

UEN is an amazing resource for teachers. The lesson plans are full of every resource you would need to have to do the lesson. You are given several books to read ahead of time with your class, the materials needed, extensions you can do, and parent connections. It will be so useful to do my first lesson plan for Technology and it will help with a lesson plan I have to do for another class that I didn't know where to start. This will be a website I use as a resource often through the last of my schooling and as I first begin teaching because all the lesson plans are integrated and some are even games. :)

Blogging with Teaching

When I start teaching a blog can be very useful in keeping parents involved in the classroom. I could post pictures with parents consent to show the different activities the students are doing. The other thing the blog would help create is an informal way for parents to talk to me and other parents. It could be fun to also have it be a student's responsibility to post what happened during the day at the end of the day or the next morning. This could help you as a teacher keep a good assessment on how your students' are doing with their grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Those are just a few things I could do with a blog while teaching.
