Christmas got put away today. I love how big the room feels after the tree gets put away. I changed up my front room area since I got a new decoration from my mother-in-law for Christmas.
What do you think?
I made the wedding date frame for me while making everyone else one. The sunflowers are from our wedding, and the family is from my mother-in-law. I just love it. So easy and cute. Brian liked it when he got home from work.

4 years.....
......was a long time ago and so much has changed but it was the day that Brian first took me out on our first date. We do celebrate this (unlike some people) because we grew and learned so much about each other from this date. It was also the mark Brian wanted to hit before we got married. He wanted to date someone for a year before getting married. We dated for 18 months by the time we got married but the date of our first date is always celebrated every year. I got so lucky that Brian asked me out. I love him more today then ever. He treats me like a queen and supports me through every adventure. Whenever we get time to sit down, cuddle, and talk we always tell each other that we got lucky in meeting each other. I am so blessed to have Brian in my life. We definitely had some interesting things make it so we could meet but we thank those things every year as we grow closer together and learn even more about each other.
I love you Brian. Thanks for asking me out 4 years ago and taking me on the trip to Cornish where I got to know your personality even more. Now 4 years later we are still enjoying time in the car and other places as we continue to explore new things together and do more Firsts.
Here's to more firsts and more happy days and more anniversaries together.

Christmas
Brian and I had a great Christmas! We got to see everyone and besides a hiccup in the day we enjoy visiting with everyone too. Brian really got to spend some time with his grandpa, which was probably his favorite part of the day. We spent Christmas Eve at Brian's dad's house. We got a lot of gifts and spent some great time with all of the family. We then went to my parent's house and spent the night, we woke up with my brother and his family. His girls enjoyed opening their presents. It was fun to watch Christmas through their eyes. After opening a few gifts we all got ready to go to Church where we had a great program. It was Brian's first musical program for a Christmas sacrament meeting. It surprised me when he said this to me. After church we had a great meal with my parents. It was so good. My brother brought himself a kinnect this Christmas so we spent a lot of the evening laughing at everyone doing the sports. My brothers are very competitive and hilarious to watch as they compete their hearts out. We went home Christmas night since my parent's house was packed to the brim. We came back down after running some errands. Brian had to work in Salt Lake, so he left and I headed to Ogden with my family to catch front runner down to Salt Lake. My nieces were so excited about riding the train with all of us to go see the lights at temple square. It was funny to watch the different expressions on the different ages but everyone of us enjoyed the ride. The lights were fun to look at but my favorite part was my hot chocolate. It was really yummy!! :)
I sure loved the whole relaxing weekend and so far this week. I only had one day of work which was today. I spent two hours doing a cram session, then got lunch, and relaxed while 9 people tried to pass the Accuplacer test. Only a few succeeded, sad but a true statement. That test isn't easy but everyone comes in expecting me to hand them the answers. Can't do that so good luck! Study more next time. Now to enjoy the rest of the weekend.....especially tomorrow. I can't wait. Now just praying Brian feels a little better (he got a cold).

Last Basketball Game
Brian and I have always known we wouldn't be in Logan forever. So just in case things turn out with a few things we have put out, Brian and I went to the last December Basketball game. It was the last game of the Gossner Classic. The Aggies won the tournament and it just reminded me of all the times Brian and I went to the basketball games through our dating and married life.
In fact we went to a basketball game for our first date. I have been thinking and I want to get pictures all around Logan of our life here so that Brian and I can make a book and show our children where we meet and fell in love. Logan will always hold a special place for us and I know we will be back to visit but it will probably not be our home again once we move away.

Nieces and Nephews gifts
Every year Brian's family gets together before Christmas to give the grand kids their gifts and exchange other gifts. It is great because they get to enjoy Christmas and see everyone open their gifts but it doesn't get in the way of the crazy fun day of Christmas. This year it was themed. The boys got sports and the girls got sweets.
It was great seeing everyone and visiting. I love seeing the kids open their gifts. It is one of the best things about Christmas since they have such a sweet Christmas spirit.
| The boys except Trevor with their loot. They also all got pillows. |
| The girls got the gingerbread girls, squekies, and cupcakes neckalaces. Along with pjs and pillows. |

Christmas Party Weekend
Christmas Party overload is what I should really call this post. This past weekend Brian and I together had a total of five Christmas parties. In just three days!! It began on Thursday when Brian and I headed to Salt Lake to the Red Robin for his internship Christmas party. It was great to finally get to know everyone that he kept talking about and exactly why he would say certain things about them. I had to agree with him on almost everything he ever said. We were given these cool drawstring under armour backpacks too. (we got two of them since they gave one to me) They are really sweet. I will have to take a picture of them and post it here.
On Friday I had my faculty Christmas party. It was a hoot. First we had the most amazing dinner catered by USU. Then we had Santa and Mrs. Claus come visit us. They gave us a gift which was a lanyard and a jump drive the smallest I have ever seen. I was pretty excited about it. We then proceed to have a white elephant gift exchange and it was hilarious. I was dying of laughing so hard. The teachers at the school I work have the funnest sense of humor. After the party was over I headed down to Layton with Brian's sister for the Peterson Christmas party. We had a lot of fun there too and Santa followed me to this party. I got to see him twice in one day. ;)
At the party on Friday night we went to Layton Park and after eating spent some time walking around the lights. I decided since it was just me to capture the fun of the lights and everyone with some fun pictures.
Once the lights were all looked at we came back and opened the gifts. We all got some great gifts and I got pictures of some of the people enjoying their gifts.
We all had a blast and enjoyed the party. It did go a little longer than I thought it would but that was okay.
Then on Saturday we got to go to another two parties. My grandma and grandpa Clawson had one at their house. We did a quick in and out, hi and bye shout out. Then headed straight to Boondocks in Kaysville for Brian's work party. It was so much fun!! Brian and I decided it was the best work party we have been to in a long time. I wasn't able to get pictures of all the fun. But we bowled like four games, played laser tag, and raced the go carts like four times. Plus the company did a couple of competitions and we brought home a good load of prizes. Along with the rest of the employees from Millcreek. Our team beat everyone at bowling and dominated the laser tags game due to our new friend named Rob. He seriously scored 15,000 points. Here are the few pictures I did get.
It was so much fun. We were really tired that next day from all the fun. I think the best was the last race we did. The whole company was out there including all the bosses. We were having so much fun. I ended up in the put-put car but Brian was in lucky number 11 which was the fastest car they had. So he was lapping everyone and loving it.
