Three years ago today Brian and I had our first date. Pretty crazy to think about and realize. I sure do love my babe!! Thanks for the great 3 years of laughter, love, fun, and so many more things!!
Our story began in December 2007 when Brian first hit on me when I was on crutches from a sledding accident. We began hanging out by staying late at work to get extra hours and then going and doing things together in our group of friends who all stayed late. It was a great way to get to know each and begin a great friendship before dating.
Our first date was pretty amazing but it depends on which story you hear. Mine or Brian's. They are similar with just slightly different little details to embellish it. Maybe I will be able to get him to post his version after posting mine.
We began the date by getting my favorite food Chinese at the Mandrine Gardens in Logan. We then headed up to the USU basketball game. I can't remember the no name team we played but Brian can. We didn't talk much during the game since we were both enjoying the game so much. We did win but I couldn't tell you the score.
After the game we had no plans so Brian began the drive out to Richmond where I was living at the time with my sister. He drove way slow at least ten under the speed limit to allow us more time to talk and enjoy the end of the date. When we got to Richmond Brian sped up and past the road to my house and headed right out of Richmond.
We ended up in Idaho and then turned around. We then took a detour down to Cornish. Yeah most you have probably no idea where that little town is but it was an adventure. Then to save gas Brian went and parked in the church parking lot next to my house so we could talk. I know we talked about almost anything you could think of until three in the morning.
Brian nonchalantly took my hand sometime during our conversation (not really since I wouldn't place my hand in a spot where he could get it) and kissed me just before we left the parking lot to take me home.
The next morning I woke up early and went and sent the guy I had been seeing a little off on his mission and headed to Brian's apartment to watch "Amazing Grace".
We spent most of the next three days together with it being the holiday and enjoyed every minute of it. That was the beginning of our relationship. Although we have had some ups and downs we have enjoyed the growth we have gained and have enjoyed every day together.
Our dating was full of a ton of firsts for me since I hadn't done too many things before. I have a notebook full of the things we did together. I should probably write that in here for me.
We dated for almost sixteen months before we got engaged and then got married a week after our eighteen month mark of our first date. We will soon be celebrating 18 months of marriage.
What an amazing three years we have had together. I can't wait to continue having more adventures, more firsts, and more time to grow together. My life sure hasn't been the same since three years ago but it is only because it got better. I love you Brian!!

Last week....
.....was quite the interesting week and didn't go quite as planned. As posted before my mom broke her wrist/arm. So I ended up taking work off and running her to school and helping out. It was a fun and interesting experience since she has a pretty diverse class with behavior problems to any other problem. But I sure learned some interesting things. After doing that all week and draining myself I then got to spend the weekend relaxing some. We stayed at my parents house and went to some Christmas parties and just enjoyed spending time with family. I began working again yesterday. First time in a week, it was a pretty interesting day. But hey that is how it works. Brian and I also signed up for a 12 day membership to the Sports Academy. I have now worked out for the past two mornings. I love it. Too bad memberships are way too expensive once they become not free anymore. Anyway, I hope everyone is having a happy holiday and enjoying whatever breaks they have from work and school. Also leave a comment on what we could possible do for our situation below. I need these managers feeling good and not that we are disrespecting them but they have to realize we have been here longer than them and are use to things being done by what we were told to expect, not what they decide on. It is a hard adjustment.

Growing Up
Can I tell you sometimes it sucks being a grown up and having to fix problems or deal with people who get offended easily. Question for any one to help us with:
How do you deal with managers that get ticked off at a little note??? We were just trying to figure out why our driveway wasn't being shoveled any more. What can we do? Any advice is welcome!!

Roller Skating and Broken Wrists
Weird weekend for us. We began by just relaxing Friday night and ended up going out to eat at Chili's with Jan and Spencer. We then watched Inception at our apartment since Brian and I hadn't seen it. Brian is still in the dark and only knows a little of what happens since he had to leave to work and was unable to finish the movie. Saturday was a fun filled day for us though. I began it with zumba. It was probably the most intense workout the lady could have done but still a lot of fun. I then had to hurry and get ready since Brian and I were babysitting. I got ready just in time too. Cristy Brian's sister stopped by and dropped off the kids to come play while she went to the temple. We decided to take the kiddos to the fun park and do either roller skating or soft play with a few arcade games. The kids loved it. We were even able to teach Cole how to roller blade. He picked it up so fast and loved it! It was fun to see his determination and effort as he kept trying even when he got tried. After finishing up at the fun park we went out for ice cream (I know we are the best ever......or so the kids thought so). Once we finished with ice cream I had to run again since I was taking pictures of my brother and his family for Christmas cards before they head to Texas this week. It didn't work out the best as everyone wasn't in the best of moods but the setting was really pretty and it was a perfect day. I then had Brian come pick me up so we could go run a few errands. Once we finished we went home to relax until the USU game......or that was the plan. Brian ended up falling asleep and crashed until nine thirty. I tried waking him but couldn't ever really wake him up so I decided the game wasn't worth it. We ended up winning by twenty or so and were ahead by that much from the beginning of the game. I took a small nap before figuring out everything about the game and had missed a call from my sister so I called her back and began working on my math final. This is when I found out about the broken wrist. My mom had fallen due to some holes in the parking lot of a reception center. She ended up having to have surgery and got nine screws and a plate. Since this happened so late she had to stay the night in the hospital. We knew that she had some plans with my family for Sunday and probably wasn't ready for it so we went down to Perry early Sunday morning to help out. It was a fun relaxing day but we got nothing really accomplished for our finals. Luckily I finished my math final this morning and turned it in. Now we just need to have Brian do well on his two today and we are set to begin the Christmas break.

St. Nicholas Day
Brian and I had fun St. Nicholas Night opening our gift together. My family has given out ornaments every year to each child. A lot of them come from St. Nicholas. It is one of my favorite traditions and made it so we actually have enough ornaments to make our tree look decent without buying any others.

Weekend of.....

fun and craziness. We always seem to put the most activities on the weekend Brian works which makes it pretty interesting to say the least. So I didn't pull out the camera at every event and am a little sad I didn't since we missed getting some pictures taken with our friends who were up visiting.

We then got up and headed to Aggy's for dinner with Jessa, Wes, and some other friends. They were up checking out apartments and so dinner was a must. We had a lot of fun laughing and hanging out. It was a lot of fun but I didn't take a single picture to post. Boo! on me. After dinner Brian went home and crashed so he'd be ready for work and I did a little homework. We then both were able to relax for most of Sunday. Brian also slept since he had one more day of work to get through. We are now in the midst of the last week of school with a few activities planned. It should be a fun week and weekend. I'll try to post more during the week now that the stress of school is gone for the most part. In fast I will be getting and beginning my first final in about two hours. Pretty crazy.
Last thing as promised:
