This past weekend has been full of being
grateful and it has lead into the beginning part of this week and I just felt like I should share what I am most
grateful for this past little bit.
It started last Friday when my boss asked me about working. This is my last week at BATC and I couldn't be more
grateful for the position I have held at that job and the boss that I have been blessed to have these past 5 years. Then I am
grateful to have the opportunity to help out my mom. This weekend we canned over 56 quarts of apricots. It was a privilege to be able to be there at my parent's house to help her with that task and relearn some of the things I learned from her years ago. I am also
grateful to have been able to go visit Brian's grandpa on Sunday. It is great getting to see him every week and I am sad that it is coming to a point where it will be more monthly/bimonthly instead of weekly. I am
grateful for the lesson I had in church on the Holy Ghost. I am
grateful we got to go visit more family at a park with Brian's family. I am also
grateful that members of the family listened to the warning of checking out Brian's dad while he was not looking so good and even getting a stethoscope from home nearby to listen to his heart. I am
grateful for the warnings in getting him to the hospital. By leaving then he was able to get to the hospital on time as he had a heart attack and was able to be with the medical help he needed. I am
grateful we didn't get a ticket on our way to the hospital as we rushed to all be together to comfort each other. I am also
grateful for the doctors on hand who helped fix up his heart. I am
grateful, as our all of our family, for the great outcome of the surgery and that Brian's dad will hopefully be home in the next day or two. Then I am
grateful that Brian's new boss is understanding and allowed him to stay home yesterday on his first day of work to sleep and get in more sound of mind to start his job after the night we had. I am
grateful I was able to go help out Dean and Lori with Brian's sister and her kids in doing yard work. I am
grateful for the two job interviews I was offered. I am
grateful Brian and I found a place to live that feels like home and that we could find it together and so quickly. I am just so
grateful for the way these last few days have worked out and the blessings that have come. It is amazing how quick things can happen for good or bad but we can be
grateful for the way that everything turned out by just looking at it with a new perspective.
