Our Story

Brian and I met through a mutual friend at Convergys in Logan, Utah. He remembers meeting me in September....I don't remember when we got introduced BUT I remembered who he was when I ran into him on the Aggie Shuttle in December. I had twisted my ankle while sledding and was on crutches so he asked about it. We then had a team meeting at work and found out we were on the same team. Everyone kept asking me what happened and before I could answer Brian said, "I kicked her because I thought she was cute and wanted to get her attention." Well, he had my attention from that moment on. I began to have him and several other people sit by me to hang out at work while working overtime/extra hours. We had a lot of fun. Our work then had a work Christmas Party at the Fun Park so I set up a time for a group of us to get together so I could have him come. I did this because I wasn't sure if he was dating someone or not. He showed up along with his sister and brother who also worked where we did. We had a lot of fun bowling, skating, and playing laser tag. We then headed to work. While Brian and I were doing different activities his sister told him to dump the girl he was half dating and to ask me out. (I found this out later. Along with the fact that from the time Brian met me he thought I was cute but thought I was dating someone, even though I wasn't.) Brian didn't waste much time and stole my number within the next week. I threw a piece of paper at him and he wrote on it and passed it back. This began our note passing at work. We learned so much about each other during this time and began looking forward to going to work just so we could get to know each other more. Brian texted me for the first time after we went to a midnight movie (he said he wanted to hold my hand this night but couldn't decide my feelings). We then began to text back and forth every day. He finally called and asked me out for December 29th. We went to the Aggie Basketball game after dinner at The Madarin Garden. He then didn't want to take me home so we drove out to Idaho and then to Cornish. After that drive we ended up in a church parking lot right next to my house and talked until three in the morning. He then took me home after finally holding my hand and giving me a couple kisses (it was technically our second date since it was the next day). I then went to sleep, got up early and headed to Brigham to the guy I had gone on a few dates with farewell, said goodbye to him, changed and headed back to Logan to Brian's apartment for a movie night. We had a lot of fun dating and getting to know each other over the holiday break. After months of dating we decided to take a break to get things figured out. We got back together about three and a half months later and were engaged within two months. We then got married on 7/11/09. We have been enjoying life together since then and loving every minute.
