My cousin Catherine came up to visit us this weekend. She got home from her mission in Peru about three months ago and we finally were able to get together to do something fun.
We first had a delicious dinner of hamburgers with a pasta salad and fruit (Yum!). Once we were all full we headed to the mini golf course for a fun round of golf.
Since we love going to this course here in Logan we decided to make it more fun for everyone by changing the rules. We drew candy, and you had to hit the ball the way the color told you when you drew it. Our colors were pink - normal swing, blue- between the legs, green-pool shot, and yellow-opposite hand. The rule was just the first shot had to be done the special way, everything else could be normal.
It was a lot of fun and we sure did laugh a lot. I was really happy that the weather cooperated so we could go and do this.
Now it is story time......
So above there are pictures of water and Scott. I have to explain why these are in here. So we were at a hole all taking our turns golfing in the unique ways we all needed to when all the sudden we here Liz and Cat laughing. Turns out another couple had lost their ball to the water hazard. Scott decided to try to help by getting the ball with his club, but he lost his grip and the club went into the water instead. So the ball was floating along on top while Scott's club rested on the bottom. The pond was a lot deeper than it looked too, because he couldn't even reach it. The person working was walking around at the time and went to get a net for the ball, then helped Scott find and gather his club. It was really funny watching him try and try to reach his club though.....which is why there are lots of pictures of it. We had to have it recorded.
