But instead we packed everything up and headed off into the sunset of Colorado toward Vernal. We decided to reserve a camping spot at the KOA after we realized we had our tent in the car. Sadly we only had our tent and not our sleeping bags. But we decided to rough it out and make our sheets and comforter work for the night. It was a little chilly but not too bad.
The next morning we got up bright and early. Took down camp and headed for Midway. My parents took a spire of the moment trip there and we were invited to come eat breakfast and enjoy a warm clean shower. It was fun catching up with my parents and telling them about our adventures since they had been out in Colorado. We then continued on to Park City. We decided due to the schedules to go and surprise the Poppletons first. We showed up at the game and totally took them by surprise for sure. Kaylee's team won their game too and had a possible two games the next day. This was good news for us since we accidentally went to the wrong field first and missed a bit of her game.
We then headed off with Brian's sister in law to the next game to surprise the Reynolds. It was funny we made his sister in law act like she was by herself. Then when they came up to the field SURPRISE!. This was a funny one because Brian's niece actually saw our car and said hey it's uncle Brian's car. Too bad it really isn't theirs since they can't make it.
Overall the surprise was a success and we got to enjoy a lot of family time and several soccer games.
For the night we headed up to the cabin with Jan and Spencer to stay the night. These were the only two that knew we were coming because we had to make sure we had a place to sleep for the night. The next morning while we were getting ready and eating breakfast we got to see the new baby moose.

Once we finished breakfast, Brian and I took off to watch some more soccer. Kaylee's team played first and they won. They had another game scheduled for later that day. Then it was off to the next game, some shopping, and another game. Sadly everyone else lost their games. When it came time for Kaylee's championship game they did great as a whole team. They were aggressive and fought hard. The game ended in a tie and went scoreless in overtime. So it was on to penalty kicks. Her team had never done them before and ended up losing. But they were champs to all of us.
It was a fun weekend to be back in Utah. We were so happy to be back with family and catching up with everyone. Even though we miss Colorado and the fun time we had there, we really enjoy being back around our family again.
