Stunt Run

Back in March/April Spencer noticed that a stunt run was coming to Utah the end of May. It had a lot of stunts like Wipe out. He thought it looked like a lot of fun but he wanted to do it with a team. After lots of talking about it at a birthday party one weekend we got ourselves a team. Sadly we only had one girl as the rest of us were pregnant or had other kids to take care of (GO Kira for representing us girls!!). Once a team was picked we thought it was funny that the name of the team was the Cool Runnings. So we got ourselves a Jamaica team and decided to make costumes for it. They were all black and then with duct tape we created fun different designs and then spelled our Jamaica on the back. It was such a fun family event that we are actually hoping to do more of them together soon. Jan and I were there cheering them on and took some fun pictures.

 Now after this there are just tons of pictures!! If you scroll down a little fast it will look like they are moving as I took the shots in action continuous mode!!

 After this stunt they went down to a really muddy area and I was seriously 38 1/2 weeks pregnant and didn't feel like I would be able to keep up with them so we waited by the next obstacle up higher.

We found a cool car to chill in.

 This took a lot longer then we expected and we should have gone down to see what they were doing. I guess we missed some really cool stunts. :(

The 3 oldest got smart and started walking between stunts because the stunts were tricky enough without the 5K run in between. 

 The worst part of the whole thing was how long the lines ended up being at each stunt so you stood around waiting for your turn for a long time but the stunts were all fun and worth it......or so everyone said that did it.

End of the race looks......we lost some of our decor but all had fun but were pretty wet and cold!!

Overall it was a fun day and we got lucky it was suppose to rain and be cold but we had the best time. It got sunny right as we started and was sunny through the whole time we were racing and got cloudy right at the end. Now to find the next one......
