Summer Trips

We spent most of June just at our house and traveling to see family. We learned that my family was going to Colorado the beginning of July to see my brother though. After much thought we decided to go. Shortly before we were going to leave we found out Brian had received a new job offer and we accepted. We then began looking for houses to buy the week we were leaving. It was a crazy time and a crazy trip but it was nice to get away for a few days this summer. We headed to Steamboat Springs for the first night so we weren't traveling for too long. The next morning we woke up and went to see the amazing waterfall. It was funny because 2 years before this is where Brian and I spent our 4th wedding anniversary. It was fun to be back. We then headed to Grand Junction Colorado to go to Estes Park and meet up with my brother.

So cute grabbing onto himself. He would either hold his foot or get a fist full of Brian's shirt and then fall asleep.

In Estes park we hit several trails and spent some good time walking around and enjoying the scenery.

We had a blast in Colorado and loved getting to spend time with George for the 4th of July. It was a fun trip and a fun walk down memory lane from our time in Colorado.
July was a crazy month and we spent it looking for a place to live, packing, and moving into my parent's while we got the house figured out and papers signed. The end of July and beginning of August we ended up in Park City for the soccer tournament like we always do. It was a fun trip full of lots of sun and fun. This was the first year we had only a few games over lap instead of almost every game over lapping. The only ones that were at the same time were the last day of games. Sadly, no one made it to the championship games. Next year!!
Annual Alpine Slide ride, Brian went while I stayed with Denvic.

After Park City we just had lots of housing stuff to finish up, packing up again, and officially moving into our own new place. So August was spent mostly doing that. Now we are finally settling in and enjoying having a home we can call our own and getting to know our neighbors.
