Brian's internship at the basketball games ended last week.
It was sad for him because he loved doing this. He will still be doing things during softball once it starts but basketball is one of his favorite sports so he really really enjoyed it.
He is excited though since we found out he got the internship at U of U starting in the fall.
However we researched all the grad schools we are going to be applying to and one starts in August so if he gets into that one our lives will be turning upside down. No internship and no being together for a whole semester as I will be student teaching.
Anyway the game Brian did his last day on was the last home game (obviously) and was senior night. We were playing against the team that beat us in the WAC. Wild Bill came up with a great idea for this night by having the whole front row dress up in every outfit he has done so far. It was really funny.
The game was really fun and pretty intense but it was also a big blow out. Which made us happy. A great game to end the season in the Spectrum on.
We won the fourth WAC championship. So far every year Brian and I have been up here our Aggies have won the championship. But four in a row is pretty amazing.
Everyone left the stands once we won to be on the floor when the net was cut down. It was pretty intense that we won. Almost all of our seniors won every year they played it was pretty great being a apart of it.
Our fans were all excited (probably those of us that were there for all of it more than others).
It was such a fun night. Only sad part was Brian was on the floor (doing what he loves and wants to do for his career which I am excited about) and not up in the stands with me like all of our games we have been too. It was still a great night and one we will always remember. We love being Aggies.
