Jan's wedding

Jan and Spencer finally tied the knot yesterday. They were so excited to finally get married. So I figured I would post some pictures of their happy day. It was fun but a very long day like any wedding day is.

 The nieces and nephews looking so crisp and happy as we wait for the happy couple to come out of the temple.

 It was such a beautiful day and was pretty warm considering. I just loved how the temple looked with the clouds flying by and the bright blue sky.

 This is the happy couple waiting our turn for taking pictures. The other couple was taking their dear time too.

These are our name tags from the luncheon. Brian told me to take a picture since it is probably the only dinner he will be to that he has a name tag.

 Us at the luncheon waiting for the food while starving. Everything ended up behind schedule with the sealing being about twenty minutes late.

 The cake turned out great but had a weird position in the room where trying to take a picture of it just left bars behind it.

The cake topper was made by Jan, Spencer, and Jan's old roommate. It turned out really cute.

 We got to the reception early for pictures and sat around for a little bit since we needed a few things still that were a little late.
Here we are chilling. I was attempting to figure out how I wanted the flower in my hair.

 The nephews and nieces all got flowers along with the rest of us. It wasn't what we expected but it was fun to have them for the pictures at the reception. I took some pictures and had fun with it. I also pulled out my monopod to show the nephews and they decided to try to take a picture. It worked.

 Brian and I took a picture of us after we were both dressed up and ready with flowers and everything. This picture also helped me realize my flower was a little to low for my liking but still cute.

 The nieces and nephews had a lot of fun but were mostly entertained by their DSs and each other running around and up and down the stairs.

I also had to take a picture of the funny thing that happened to Greg. He was given two different sizes in shoes and it was noticeable. The left one was smaller and not wide while the right was the right size in width and length. (can you see it?)

 The end of the reception came and we had to rush to try to get everything done. Here the happy couple are cutting the cake and trying to get the piece out. They then had the cake fall apart while trying to get the piece to feed each other. After some digging they finally got some pieces big enough to feed each other.

 Here is my handsome guy winking at me as we were waiting for the reception to finish up so we can leave and get back to Logan in time for Brian to work.

Spencer got the garter off of Jan's leg with his teeth. It was pretty funny.

 He then went to toss it to the guys but Jan and Spencer both had to redo their tosses. Jan hit the ceiling with her flowers and had to retoss. Spencer then went to toss the garter and it didn't fly to the guys. It fell to the ground right behind him. It was really funny.

 While Jan and Spencer were doing some of their dancing we headed outside to help monitor the decorating of the car. We knew they didn't want it over the top due to an early flight today. It was fun to help out.

We then came in to see the happy couple doing a dance. So we didn't miss it. Brian and I then took the time to get a small dance out. Took a quick picture with the happy couple and got Brian changed.

On our way out we noticed someone had took off some of the writing on the car. We were shocked since it said nothing bad and was really clean but guess we can't do anything about it. Brian posed for a quick picture since he did help with the decorating of it and wanted a picture by it.




It was a really fun day and was really long. We made it home and both crashed. I slept till this morning but Brian only got around an hour of sleep in the car and then at home before he headed to work. Now he is upstairs sleeping very deeply after two days of three hours of sleep. Not the best for him but I am proud of him for making it through the whole day yesterday on no sleep.

Now it is time for me to get packing and get the house cleaned for Spring Break (#1 for me). We are leaving tomorrow morning so I have a lot to do but am having a good morning of updating the blog and relaxing a little.
