Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Sporting Events

Our Thanksgiving break began with a basketball game. We were lucky enough to get some tickets and headed down to Weber to cheer on our Aggies at the game. It was such a fun night. One reason was because my husband got to sit next to me and cheer during the game. The other because we got to enjoy the beginning of the break together.

A picture showing proof that we went to a game together.

Go Aggies Go Aggies Hey Hey Hey

We win!! It was a close game and we were down most of the game
We then enjoyed Thanksgiving by going to visit all of our families!! It was a great beautiful day and we loved getting to see everybody. When we went to eat we got to enjoy the new and different apple pie that I made. It was really good but definitely different.
Our pie-granny smith apples, diced up with snickers and a cream cheese cool whip mixture surrounding it
We then hurried home to do some Black Friday shopping. We got a lot of our Christmas gifts and were done shopping pretty early. We got about 3 and a half hours of sleep, then went and got our socks and some free money to Sport's Authority. Afterward we headed to Wellsville to drop off Jan and then went home to get some sleep. We were given tickets by the Poppletons to go to the Jazz game. This was a first for Brian and I. We have been to almost every sporting event in Salt Lake together during our last 6 years. So it was fun to go to this game together as a new first.
Intro with the Jazz Bear on a motorcycle

The game was a green out and we got green shirts to wear. It was a fun game to watch some of the things the Jazz Bear did but the team definitely isn't the best. It was a fun date night for us though and we appreciate the night out by the Poppletons.

The next day was a double header of events for the Aggies. It began with a football game. This was the better of the two last games. The game before this one was so windy and cold, you had to stay bundled up to try to even enjoy the game. This game was perfect though, a sweatshirt was more then enough.  We were playing to win our division of the Mountain West and we won.

I started with watching the game at one spot. It was senior day and I actually got a little sad. This was Brian's last home football game that he would be helping out with. It was bittersweet. I can't wait to have Brian in the stands next to me and cheering again but it will be sad to move away and not be in the stands every home game.
Don't know why this is out of order but I thought this picture was so much cuter then the other one but for some reason our camera didn't focus. This is why we finally brought a new camera. We decided 5 years was a long time for a camera.

Champions!!
We also went that night to the BYU game down in Salt Lake. We were so excited to try to end the night with another victory. Sadly, the Energy Solutions arena seems to be a bad place for the Aggies. We don't win there very often. We had a good night enjoying the game with Liz and Steven though.
Trying to capture a picture of all of us. Not the best but our best one.
The funny thing was were were here the night before for the Jazz game and this game was a more intense game then the Jazz one. It was a fun night of cheering but a frustrating night for an Aggie Fan of the game since BYU students weren't very good sports.
Let's go Aggies.
That rounded out the end of November for us.
