Brian and I are enjoying the time we have both being done with school for the year (and for Brian for a longer time than that!!) We are graduated and using our time to work on things that have been left off to the side. So before we say see ya later Logan we are hitting up our favorite hikes. We have done one and attempted another that will have to wait until it gets even warmer......
Crimson Trail:
This is one of my favorite hikes. It is hard, easy, hard, and then easy again hike. Plus it is a gorgeous hike that looks over Logan canyon. If you have never been you should totally go. It starts in Spring Hollow Campground and then you go straight up into the campground and eventually up into the mountain.

| Looks right across to the Wind Caves |
| Top at about halfway. There was a flag that we missed in this picture. |
| It is a straight drop off the edge. We got a piece of the flag in this picture. |
| If you look carefully you can see the trail and how steep it is on the way down. Oh man did we almost forget how bad the steep side was going down. |
| It is a straight drop off the last little bit of the trail. |
| Back to the easy river trail end of the hike that wraps back to the car. |
Naomi's Peak/Tony's Lake:
We attempted this one in Tony's grove only to discover it is still snowed in. Beautiful but not do able yet. We are going to wait until July and then try again. Instead we walked the no snow part of the trail a little ways around Tony's Lake.
Rick's Spring:
Brian and I have never stopped here before. Since our hike in Tony's Grove didn't pan out we had some time to spare and stopped. The signs are totally worn out explaining the place but we got a little idea on the history and it is cool to see the water come from "no-where".
| The spring. It seriously just comes out of the ground there. |
| This little bird was super close to us and just kept moving up and down but didn't go anywhere. |
| The fault line |
| Our little bird's friend doing the same thing just across the water. |
| It was nice and sunny and warm only a few miles away from Tony's Grove....you can understand why we thought we would be able to tackle this hike. |
We have several more hikes planned and can't wait to find the time to go and hike these fun places. If you want to join us let us know. The more the merrier!!
