Adam's Canyon

Right after returning home from Hawaii we were bored by the time the weekend came and we needed another adventure. So we scouted around and found a fun little hike in Layton......or so we thought. It was fun but it wasn't so little after we got going. It turned into a 6 mile hike instead of a 3 mile hike we had expected. Good thing we had some fun company and the waterfall at the end was beautiful.

Little A was a trooper and made the whole hike. We pretty much wore her out.

The gang of us excluding me.

It would seem he wasn't happy.....

But he was. He loves hikes!!

Best place to ride is on the shoulders

We left half of our group here. They tapped out.

We saw lots of little falls and we weren't sure if they trail was done or not at a couple points but luckily for us a guy who had hiked it lots showed up and told us to go a little further and we would be rewarded. Sure enough we were.

The group that made it

Climbing out to explore a little

We were getting soaked here but it felt so good!!!

Little water adventurer on her own terms

There was actually an additional part you could go up and get above the waterfall. We never were planning on going up it but now we know where that part is too.

The little adventurer who didn't give up and was a trooper

We hike back fast every time. Little A was exhausted by now.

It was such a fun day and a fun time out with some family. Next time though we will do our hike planning a little better. If we are wanting a short hike we will clarify it is actually short and not only short one way!
