Denver Zoo

One place that we had on our list of things to go and check out while in Colorado was the Zoo. We finally made it this last weekend and we couldn't have enjoyed it more. They had some great interactions and really got you into the animals. I took a lot of pictures and we spent a long time there but we enjoyed the whole day even though it was a little hot and pretty crowded.

The snow leopard had just had a baby. It was cute to see the little baby play.

Zebras and they also had a new little baby.

The lioness was super mad at something and kept going from door to door roaring and growling.

We left and were starving since we hadn't eaten anything since breakfast. So we googled some places and picked the place below. It had huge potions and cheap prices. Brian got a monster burger and it was huge!! However, I got a little bit of it and we would definitely recommend it. Delicious! I got a chicken burrito. However, due to the fantastic chips and salsa we got I was way too full to eat very much of it. So it got brought home.

We left the resturant and the wind was blowing like crazy. We had some fun clouds and ended up in a crazy storm. I was super nervous and so was Brian. We were actually pushing water on the freeway for a while and had some crazy drivers just trying to speed right on down the road. It actually got so bad at one point that we could barely see out the windshield. We luckily got to our exit and moved away from the storm and into a much better part of our drive.

Definitely a crazy adventure of the day that we were not expecting to have but overall we were happy to have made the trip and had some fun times throughout the whole day. Now we are planning our last place we want to see for this weekend. Hopefully it is as beautiful and great as the other places that have been recommended.
