While enjoying our time in Denver we decided to check out the movie theater. We originally only planned on seeing Monsters University until free tickets were offered to a early showing of Despicable Me 2. So we scooped up those and saw these movies in a matter of days of each other.
Monsters University: A great prequel to Monsters Inc. and super cute movie about how anyone can do what they want to when you have someone who believes in you. But we thought the theater would be filled with laughter by the kids there but it had more college humor then kid humor. While we enjoyed it there were some pretty intense moments too. Although let's be honest it is Sulley and Mike Wizowski.

If you go to see it stay for the end of the credits or you will miss a great part of the movie

After seeing the movie we came home and enjoyed some Mac and Cheese

After the great movie and ready to explore the mall the theater was in.
Despicable Me 2: The theater was filled with a huge assortment of people from young kids to the older group. You could hear laughter throughout the whole movie and everyone was enjoying it. Brian and I both agreed that it did have maybe 15 to 20 minutes of a little bit more of a dull time but the movie itself was fantastic. We had so many times that we were laughing so hard we couldn't believe it. I still crack up about the end of the show and some other parts that you actually see in the previews but aren't funny unless you know the scene that they belong in.

After the movie and laughing really hard
Both movies are worth seeing eventually. You won't be disappointed in either. If you didn't like Despicable Me, you will probably still really like Despicable Me 2. I thought it was actually better then the original and only made a few comments back to the original.
