Fall Break

So this past weekend was Fall Break and it was the last weekend that I had my husband all to myself until March. These next two months are the worst though. Between the rest of October and November there are over 22 events that Brian has to help make sure run smoothly or actually be at putting on. Can you say crazy?? So with his homework and starting new classes (he is basically doing quarters in semesters, it is interesting) I will not see much of my husband in the next few weeks. If I do it will be with a very limited time frame and a husband with a lot on his mind of things that need to get done.
This made it so Fall Break was a time that we knew we needed to take advantage of and get away together. We had several ideas and thought them through to only decided it wasn't the best idea. After much thought we just decided that a Park City get away was the perfect idea. We booked a hotel and ran away with out too many plans except to enjoy the time together. IT WAS PERFECT!!
We made a stop to visit a few people on our way to Park City, headed to Park City, grabbed some yummy food (a turkey guacamole sandwich and a burger between two cheese sandwiches), did some shopping, relaxed at the hotel, did an ice cream run (we got two boxes of otter pops for Brian for 66 cents and two small blue bunny ice cream containers for $2 for me), slept in, returned to Lehi for some more shopping, met up with Jan and Spencer for lunch, carved pumpkins, watched the Aggie game at my parents house, tried looking for my sister's wedding ring that she lost some time during the day, went home, slept in again, went to a baby blessing, took some fun pictures (previous post), relaxed at home and then the weekend got a little crazier then we planned.

We were excited to go to Brian's nephew's ordination, celebrate his birthday, and then come home and get some of Brian's homework done before going to bed early. What ended up happening was that the car we planned to take wouldn't start, we got it to finally start and it instantly died, so we jump in the other car very frustrated, get to the ordination, enjoy time with family, call some people about the car, watch his nephew open his gifts, enjoy some yummy ice cream and cake,  start trying to plan a day/time to go to the pumpkin walk, Brian's niece walks in with an ugly looking wrist--definitely broken, jump in the car with niece and sisters, drive to Insta care, find out they can't finish setting the bone after the x-rays, drive to the ER, find out they are going to put her under to make sure they can get it set correctly, take sister back to Wellsville, eat some yummy dinner made my Brian's sister Cristy, head back home, grab some things, try car again to only have it start up totally fine and normal, head back to the ER, take Brian's sister out to eat while niece is under and getting set, come back to the ER, and his niece is finally splinted, set, and waiting for final x-rays so she could be released. We then said our good-byes and left to go home, change, and go to bed.
Other then the last few hours on Sunday the weekend was perfect and better then I could have even imagined. It was the perfect relaxing weekend with no set plans and no place that we had to really be at any time. Now I have to try to find time between Brian's crazy schedule to do a few things I want to before the snow comes.
